Actual Age: Born in England in 1184 A.D.
Apparent Age: Early 20s
Distinguishing Features/Traits:
Perpetual English accent, although he can drop it if requested, he prefers not to bother.
While not deathly afraid of fire, it makes him balk and he'd rather avoid it.
Rather adept at using an English long sword, not that there's much call for it. Also, somewhere along the way learned how to use small firearms although he finds it rather pointless. Does however keep a crossbow and a nice stock of ammunition in his room.
Does not prefer to fight and will at times make himself scarce.
Skills:
Speaks fluent English, French, Gaelic (Scottish), Latin, and Italian with passable Spanish and Romany.
History/Info:
Born the son of an English Lord, Atsushi lived a life of privelge, discovering later that he had a twin brother, seperated at birth, as all tales like this go.
It began as a perfectly ordinary day...
... in which there are misunderstandings...
... before lessons are learned and accepted.
The brothers parted with a newfound understanding and affection, and not long after Atsushi set off to study, perhaps a frivolous pursuit. However, the reclusive scholar was less interested in the ways of the world, alchemy, and much more entranced with a sense of the occult. The latter Atsushi learned the hard way.
After being turned, he sought to cut all ties. Ryou obviously had other ideas, showing up uninvited one night. After many long days of cat and mouse, games of shadow, and an all consuming fire that seemed to burn hotter than damnation, the twins left seeking refuge in the Gypsy caravan with Ryou's family.
Much of the years following, Atsushi spent this time preoccupied with a cure.
Always interested in history, Atsushi has to admit he enjoyed the renaissance. Intriguing conversations and thoughts of intellectuals found him admiting one good perk to vampirism. Loathe to leave Europe he only moved to America at Ryou's request...
